Favorite Ways to Traverse: hiking, foraging, traveling, sailing
Favorite Market Gifts: I love supporting over 100 Northwest makers of quality goods, gear, and gifts. I’m drawn to items that remind me of the person I’m shopping for—a scent, a vibe, something practical but special, or something that makes them laugh.
Favorite Food: If I must pick one, I’ll go with fresh oysters! I’m partial to all seafood and deeply fond of every kind of cheese.
Favorite Drinks: Tea in the mornings; wine in the evenings.
Why I love Traverse Northwest Market: Traverse was born from a love of place, people, and discovery. I love watching customers find something that immediately reminds them of someone they love. I wanted to create a space that celebrates Northwest makers, invites curiosity, and feels like an adventure, where every visit offers something meaningful and thoughtfully made.
My Perfect Pacific Northwest Day: A slow morning with tea, a good book, and time to write in my journal—paired with a plan that leaves room for spontaneity. The scent of the season in the air, time outside, and a deep appreciation for the Columbia River that shapes this place and our days in Stevenson. It ends with a great meal, the best company, and gratitude for this place, the people, and the work we get to do.
Fun Fact: I’m the oldest of my six siblings: Quentin, Richard, Ross, Sandy, James and Natalie.
